AWC Series Compression Connectors

Designed with the intention of optimum efficiency. The TRICON AWC Series Compression Connectors was released with wide range and universal H-shaped aluminum connectors. The AWC Compression Connectors serve the purpose of separating conductors through the shape of the connectors. Each connector has been equipped with bendable tabs to secure both run and tap conductors. It has also been designed to withstand all possible conditions, galvanic corrosions are minimized through its aluminum design, prefilled with a grease compound and strip sealed to limit oxide growth to maximize the longevity of the connection.

The Tricon AWC Series are comprised of AWC-1 to AWC-7, with each size designed for maximum efficiency. Individually packaged with applicable conductor ranges clearly printed on both the connector itself and the package.

Application: For Copper, Aluminum or ACSR, and Compact Conductors.

Meter Seal Series

TRICON LIne Meter Seals offer a variety of meter security seals that include, but are not limited to the following applications: electric meters, water meters, shipping containers, gas meters and other related security applications. TRICON Meter seals are segregated by type and application that cater to specific industry needs.

Insulated Piercing Connectors

Tricon Insulated Piercing Connectors were developed to branch the insulated service cable from the main electrical cable, without cutting or peeling the insulated cable jacket which will improve the efficiency of power cable line deployment. It is designed for easy installation and removal.

Hardware & Connectors

Tricon Aluminum compression lugs for terminating jumper loops and equipment taps at switchpads and other substation equipment. Tricon Lugs abide by NEMA standard mounting holes. Installed with same dies as equivalent full-tension sleeves. All connectors are pre-filled with oxide inhibiting compound, stripsealed, and capped to limit oxide growth and increase the life of the connection.

Wedge Connectors

Tricon Wedge Connectors (TWC) are used to connect solid and stranded aluminum, aluminum alloy and stranded aluminum composite conductors including AAC, AAAC, ACSR, ACAR, AW, ACSR/AW, and ACSS. They may also be used in non-corrosive environments to connect copper conductors. TWC is designed to be universally compatible with current market boosters for installation.
